ABOUT ABOUT

Berwick Academy presents pianist Noah Landis in a concert spanning four centuries of musical invention, with special guests Kent Allyn and Nate Therrien.

Friday evening, May 23, 7:00 p.m., in the Patricia Baldwin Whipple Arts Center at Berwick Academy

This concert will be the school’s first-ever Senior Piano Recital on the recently donated Steinway Model D piano. This performance is the culmination—and a reflection—of Noah Landis' 13 years of classical and jazz piano study, in which he has delved deeply into both genres. The evening will feature an eclectic blend of classic works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven and Gabriel Fauré, and will segue into more recent "classics" by virtuoso Oscar Peterson and other jazz masters.

There’s something for all musical tastes at this unique evening’s entertainment, and all are welcome. Doors open at 6:30 pm for the 7 pm performance at the Whipple Arts Center, Berwick Academy, 31 Academy Street, South Berwick, ME. Contact: 207-384-6110 or Email: [email protected].
